Sector Run: July 07, 2026

Welcome to Chimerapocalypse, where the air is thick with corruption, the water’s a toxic nightmare, and the streets are paved with broken dreams. Your nameless, faceless heroes find yourselves in the festering metropolis of New Erebus, a city built on the back of a dying earth. The once-blue skies now churn with noxious fumes, casting a sickly yellow glow over the crumbling skyscrapers. The air reeks of decay and desperation, a stench that clings to your skin like a bad habit.

As you emerge from the cramped, underground shelter of the local Black Market Bazaar, you’re immediately hit with the putrid stench of the nearby Wasteside River. This fetid waterway is the lifeblood of New Erebus’ toxic economy, and its banks are home to some of the most unsavory characters in the city. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and let’s be real, what other choice do you have?), is to retrieve a valuable shipment of rare, genetically engineered “Savior Seeds” from the riverbank docks. These seeds hold the key to creating the next generation of high-yield, radiation-resistant crops – and whoever controls them will control the very future of New Erebus.

But be warned: you’re not the only ones after those seeds. The rival gangs of the Red Hand and the Black Legion are also on the hunt, and they won’t hesitate to cut each other (and anyone else in their way) to get what they want. You’ll need to navigate this treacherous landscape of toxic waste, gang violence, and corporate espionage if you hope to survive long enough to make it back to the Bazaar with those precious seeds. So gear up, grab your hazmat suits, and let’s get started – we’ve got a Chimerapocalypse to contain!

The thrill of the unknown. You decide to follow the sound of scuttling creatures, and the scrawny kid with the cybernetic arm hesitantly nods in agreement. The two of you move cautiously through the dimly lit tunnel, your footsteps echoing off the walls. The air is thick with the stench of decay, and you can hear the distant scuttling of… something.

As you round a corner, you come face to face with a horde of twisted creatures, their bodies contorted by some unknown force. They’re unlike anything you’ve seen before – their skin is deathly pale, and their eyes glow with an otherworldly bioluminescence. The scrawny kid lets out a terrified scream as the creatures charge towards you.

You prepare to defend yourself, but just as the creatures are about to attack, they suddenly halt in their tracks. Their glowing eyes fix on something behind you, and they begin to move in unison towards it. You turn to see what’s caught their attention…

A massive, twisted creature is emerging from the shadows, its body a mass of pulsing, bioluminescent tendrils. It’s unlike anything you’ve seen before – it seems to be some sort of… abomination, created by the very same forces that are infecting the city.

The scrawny kid is frozen in terror, unable to move or speak. You’re left standing alone, face to face with this monstrosity…

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Attempt to reason with the creature (good luck with that)
    – Prepare to defend yourself against the creature’s attack
    – Try to sneak past the creatures and escape through a side tunnel

The panic button has been pressed. Literally.

You make a break for the exit, but it’s too late. The alarms have already reached deafening levels, and the lights are strobing wildly like a rave in a war zone. You dash through the command center, dodging panicked scavengers as they scramble to escape the impending doom. The old woman with the cybernetic eye grabs onto your arm, yanking you back towards the console.

“No, no, no! We have to shut it down!” she screams over the din of alarms.

You try to shake her off, but she’s too strong. She drags you back to the console, where the scrawny kid with the cybernetic arm is frantically typing away at the keyboard. The screen displays a countdown timer: 5…4…3…

Suddenly, the floor beneath your feet gives way, and the command center drops several stories down into a dark, cavernous space. You feel weightless for a moment before crashing onto the cold, damp concrete.

The alarms have stopped, but an eerie silence has fallen over the area. You sit up, dazed, to find yourselves in a dimly lit underground chamber filled with the stench of decay and corruption. The old woman is nowhere to be seen, but the scrawny kid is cowering in the corner, eyes wide with terror.

You notice that the walls are adorned with strange symbols, etched into the concrete like some sort of twisted graffiti. They seem to pulse with a faint, bioluminescent glow.

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Investigate the symbols and try to understand their meaning
    – Search the chamber for any signs of the old woman or other survivors
    – Follow the sound of scuttling creatures echoing through the tunnels

The recklessness continues. You decide to violently press the scavengers for more information, and the atmosphere in the command center suddenly shifts from tense to hostile.

The scrawny kid with the cybernetic arm takes a step back, eyes darting towards their companions as if expecting them to intervene. The grizzled old woman with the cybernetic eye narrows her gaze at you, hand instinctively resting on the grip of a nearby pistol.

“We don’t know anything more than what we’ve told you,” she growls, voice dripping with hostility. “We’re just trying to survive here. If you want to go poking around in the research facility, be my guest. But don’t expect us to give you any more information.”

The console screen behind them flickers again, displaying a new image: a security feed showing one of your group members (the admin) being grabbed by an unseen force and dragged out of frame. The sound of scuttling creatures and distant screams fills the air.

Suddenly, the lights in the command center begin to strobe wildly, and the air is filled with a cacophony of alarms blaring from the console. A low, ominous voice speaks over the intercom: “Containment breach detected. Level 3 protocols engaged.”

The scavengers’ eyes go wide as they realize what’s happening. The old woman’s face contorts in a mixture of fear and desperation. “What have you done?” she screams.

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Attempt to reason with the scavengers, explaining that it was an accident
    – Grab the console and try to shut down the containment protocols before they’re too late
    – Make a break for the exit, hoping to outrun whatever horrors are about to be unleashed

VIOLENTLY Press the scavengers for more information about the research facility and its possible connection to the creatures

The art of interrogation. Where do I start?

You lean in, trying to appear friendly (or at least, less threatening), and ask the scrawny kid with the cybernetic arm to tell you more about the creatures on the security feed. The kid looks around nervously, as if checking to see who’s listening, before responding in a hushed tone.

“Those… things? They’re not from around here, that’s for sure. We don’t know what they are or where they came from, but they started showing up about a week ago. At first, we thought it was just some new strain of roach-borgs, but then… then they started adapting. Getting stronger, faster. And the weird thing is, they seem to be attracted to the bio-signals in the building’s infrastructure.”

The kid glances at their companions, who are watching the exchange with interest. “We’ve tried to track them down, but they’re always one step ahead. We think they might be connected to… you know, the research facility on the outskirts.”

One of the other scavengers, a grizzled old woman with a cybernetic eye, chimes in. “Aye, we’ve had reports of people getting in and out of there at night. Some folks say it’s like they’re being pulled into… something. But what, exactly? That’s what we can’t figure out.”

The console screen behind them flickers again, displaying a new image: a security camera feed from the building’s lower levels, showing a group of twisted creatures shambling towards a maintenance door.

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Press the scavengers for more information about the research facility and its possible connection to the creatures
    – Suggest investigating the lower levels, where the creatures were seen heading
    – Offer to trade or barter with the scavengers in exchange for their help in dealing with the situation

The recklessness is already starting to pay off. As you ignore the vendor’s warnings and head towards the high-rise building, the gruff-looking individual lets out a low whistle and mutters under their breath. “New players, always think they know better.”

You push through the crowded market, dodging scrawny scavengers and traders hawking their wares. The high-rise building looms above you, its twisted metal beams creaking ominously in the wind. You enter the building, finding yourselves in a dimly lit lobby with shattered glass and debris scattered everywhere.

As you search for leads on “enemies,” you notice that the building seems to be… altered. The walls have been torn open, revealing ductwork and wiring. It looks like someone (or something) has been digging through the building’s infrastructure.

You come across a makeshift command center, where a group of scavengers are huddled around a flickering console. They glance up at you with a mix of curiosity and hostility. One of them, a scrawny kid with a cybernetic arm, speaks up.

“You lot looking for trouble? Because we’ve got plenty to go around here.”

The console screen behind him flickers to life, displaying a grainy security feed from deeper in the building. You see glimpses of twisted creatures, their bodies contorted by some unknown force. They seem to be… adapting?

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Interrogate the scavengers for more information about the creatures and what’s happening in the building
    – Investigate the command center further, trying to understand how they’re using the console to monitor the situation
    – Head deeper into the building, searching for signs of the “enemies” you’re after

Welcome to “Bio-Waste”, a game where you’ll be begging for mercy in a world that’s already given up.

You find yourselves standing amidst the ruins of what was once a thriving metropolis. The air reeks of decay, and the only sounds are the distant hums of mutated insects and the occasional groan of twisted metal. Your group consists of… well, we’ll get to that in a moment. You’ve decided to hunt “the enemies”, but you haven’t specified who or what those are.

As you scan your surroundings, you notice a makeshift market set up near the entrance of an abandoned high-rise building. Scavengers and traders haggle over scraps and salvage. Some of them eye you with interest, while others seem wary. One vendor, a gruff-looking individual with tattered skin and mismatched limbs, catches your attention.

“Enemies?” they repeat, spitting on the ground. “You think we’re worried about enemies? We’ve got problems with roach-borgs infesting our food supplies and… (glancing around nervously) …whatever that thing was last night.”

The vendor leans in closer, voice dropping to a whisper.

“Word is, there’s been strange occurrences at the old research facility on the outskirts. Equipment malfunctioning, containment breaches, and people going missing. Some folks say it’s not just equipment… but others.” They glance around nervously again before straightening up. “Don’t go poking your noses in there unless you’re looking for trouble.”

Your group has a few questions to answer:

    SUGGESTED ACTIONS:
    – Approach the vendor for more information about the research facility
    – Ignore the vendor and head towards the high-rise building, searching for leads on enemies
    – Take out a map of the city and try to pinpoint the location of the research facility
